Sources and composition of this sample

All newly composed prose in Sample is AI-generated at Parishka's request for testing. Following the 27 September discussion, diary tone is restricted to the daily entries; Knowledge and Story use academic prose. The main diary passages are retrospective sample compositions. The separately identified reflection at the bottom of 9 February is a verbatim excerpt from Parishka's existing retrospective annotation.

This ledger is a production record outside the reader route. Evidence and attribution are incorporated into the reading pages, with sources listed locally. The original paths below are audit locations in the wider vault, not required steps in the reader route. No original file has been changed. Six real scholarly articles were located and checked for the fuller 27 September writing demonstration. They support the current Knowledge and Story prose; they do not establish a historical reading event in the diary. The architectural proposal and prospective comparison are AI-generated sample arguments. No interview, user observation or completed spatial experiment has been invented.

P08

Publication diary · user-authored material

09 publication/part 1 submission/daily notes/08 February 2026, Sunday 06.md

Locator: opening paragraphs on unfamiliar locations; paragraph beginning “Moving bodies”; closing paragraphs on ashes and private/shared grieving.

Supports the competing concerns about arrangements, meaningful journeys and return. Its general statements about facilities and grave visitation remain early assertions, not verified findings. The sample draws on this composed diary rather than assigning uncertain speakers in the family transcript.

P09

Publication diary · user-authored material with retrospective annotations

09 publication/part 1 submission/daily notes/09 February 2026, Monday 07.md

Locator: hybrid typology paragraph; sections on empirical methods, temporality, materiality and absence of a site.

Supports the simultaneous programme, sensory, technical and material questions. The first two sentences of the retrospective paragraph at line 62 are reproduced exactly at the bottom of the revised sample entry. They are separated from the represented moment and identified as user-authored in its production comment.

PB

Programme note · user-authored material

09 publication/part 1 submission/programme.md

Locator: “feb 09”, particularly the paragraph permitting entry at different points without a prescribed flow; “18 feb” for the three programme strands.

This is why the sample does not invent a progression from a wholly compulsory February sequence to freedom discovered in August.

A26

Professional consultation · Aresh's testimony, with Parishka's questions

01 preserved inputs/linked transcripts/diarised transcripts/has been linked/202605 may 26 aresh interview diarised 01.md

Line 21: Aresh identifies his installer perspective and distinguishes it from an owner's account. Lines 33–35: antechamber, omission of the prayer step, ash processing and staff provision. Lines 41 and 51–55: backstage access, ceremonial movement and separate ash collection. Lines 59–62: service, records and staff facilities.

The sample paraphrases these passages. Technical specifications and transcription ambiguities are not corrected or promoted into design standards. Interpretations about choice and participation are AI-composed proposals grounded in this account.

J01

Presentation · Parishka describing her project to Dirk and Liale

01 preserved inputs/linked transcripts/diarised transcripts/has been linked/202607 jul 01 presentation to dirk and liale 01.md

Lines 16–19: civic sanctuary; optional witnessing and visible ash release; memorial gathering and quiet; protection of grief care from ritual.

These establish described intentions at that presentation. They do not establish realised user experience, environmental permissions or resolved technical design.

X30

Conversation · Alex's questions and Parishka's responses

01 preserved inputs/linked transcripts/diarised transcripts/has been linked/202608 aug 30 alex diarised 01.md

Lines 128–145: return, simultaneous use, connected but independent programmes, access, privacy, wayfinding and agency. Lines 289–300: unequal research depth across ritual, memorial and grief.

The sample attributes Alex's challenge to Alex and Parishka's intentions to Parishka. Story's compact comparison of programme arrangements remains a prospective AI-generated argument. Its shared arrival landscape, edge connections and thresholds are proposals made for the demonstration, not design decisions established in the August conversation. Performance in plan and section remains to be demonstrated.

The subsequent navigation and density revision uses block identifiers on existing AI-written sample passages, brief embeds and exact return destinations. No original diary or transcript is changed. Story no longer restates the full literature discussion. The Knowledge prose is retained apart from paragraph breaks supporting short embeds; the retrospective user excerpt remains unchanged.

Verified literature added for the writing demonstration

The following articles were inspected on 27 September 2026. Bibliographic details and DOI links appear in each reading note that uses them. Publication years follow the journal issue, where an earlier online date differs. Article findings, interpretations in the sample and the user's existing programme intentions remain distinguishable.

BS22 · Burrell and Selman (2022) Publisher full text. Checked: abstract, study results and Discussion. Seventeen studies; variable quality; inconclusive quantitative findings; qualitative evidence concerning meaningful participation. The sample does not infer a universal clinical benefit.

WB20 · Walter and Bailey (2020) Publisher full text. Checked: methods, analysis and limitations; 173 accounts after exclusions. Demographic limitations are retained in Knowledge. The issue date is 2020; the earlier online publication date is 2018.

KG14 · Klaassens and Groote (2014) Article DOI. Publisher and University of Groningen metadata checked. Full text inspected in the local mirror and author-uploaded copy. Relevant sections: methodology and discussion of routing, including Haarlem. Local full-text file: Vault/_zotero_mirror/Postmodern crematoria in the Netherlands a search for a final sense of place [VVSWX5KC].md.

M13 · Maddrell (2013) Article DOI. Publisher metadata and abstract checked; the existing local full-text mirror supplied the body and conclusion. Local file: Vault/_zotero_mirror/Living with the deceased absence, presence and absence-presence [BED88SPS].md. Discussion concerns material forms, practices and changing relationships; it is not evidence that return must occur at a designated memorial.

M16 · Maddrell (2016) Article DOI. Metadata checked online; body and conclusion inspected in the existing local full-text mirror. Local file: Vault/_zotero_mirror/Mapping grief. A conceptual framework for understanding the spatial dimensions of bereavem [T4UJR3YN].md. The journal issue is 2016; online publication was 2015. No uninspected references cited within this article have been promoted to independently verified sources.

SS99 · Stroebe and Schut (1999) Article DOI · Full-text copy inspected. Checked: description of the model, especially loss and restoration orientations and oscillation, pp. 213–216, and qualifications later in the article. The sample does not translate the model into obligatory spatial stages.

Thread-field review and limits

The user supplied narrative scaffold/thesis-thread-field-synthesis-sep27-1.md for comparison. Its account of the candidates, their questions and proposed groupings was inspected for publication-role discussion. It is an AI-generated interpretive map, not independent thesis evidence. No candidates were renamed, merged, split or adopted as final publication units. Its account of Sugarcane, Construction as memory, associated practices, methods and smaller possibilities informs questions about the sample's unit boundaries.

The current Knowledge maps still contain relationships selected around the sample's programme argument. Their suitability as a topical orientation remains under discussion; the navigation repair does not approve their conceptual grouping.

Structural basis

narrative scaffold/time knowledge story.md: the explanation to Duncan establishes forward emergence, a current cut through threads and incomplete backward contents. The fuller compilation became available during this run. Its opening recap supplied the earlier review-versus-resolution proposal, presence without immediate navigation, three chronologies and rigorous incompleteness. Review versus resolution is no longer a governing rule: the Knowledge/Story boundary remains unresolved following the 27 September discussion.

The compilation also contains prior AI interpretations and scholarly suggestions. They are contextual proposals and research leads, not quoted evidence of Parishka's position or verified scholarship. This sample does not adopt their suggested chapter system or require a complete investigation cycle.

narrative scaffold/illustrator-proposed-layout.md: basis for the earlier ordering of maps, timeline, current Knowledge, Story, contents, appendix and threads. This revision removes this production ledger from the reader route; it does not decide the role of any future publication appendices.

narrative scaffold/Publication-System.md: context for the unresolved units and Knowledge/Story overlap. Its proposals are not treated as a settled design that overrides the later request.

The earlier master scaffold remains unchanged and was not used as the source of this sample's reading sequence.

This ledger is available for source inspection from the workbench. The reader sequence continues from the back contents directly to the full Knowledge threads.
