The two provisional Topic Threads retain their existing names. The diagram proposes relationships to examine at this cut; it does not establish their final boundaries or hierarchy.
- Within Ritual participation and choice, the discussion relates meaningful participation, social recognition and operational access through Burrell and Selman, Walter and Bailey, Klaassens and Groote, and the project material.
- Within Memory, return and coexistence, the discussion relates continuing relationships, changing attention and spatial experience through Maddrell, Stroebe and Schut, and the project material.
- Their proposed relation concerns encounter: seeing, passing, joining, withdrawing and returning need not coincide.
The project material contains unequal development across ritual, memorial and grief care. The current literature gives the reading greater academic depth without retrospectively changing that history or establishing that the programmes are equally resolved.
The question linking them can be read as a Story investigation. That investigation proposes a present relation. Its separation from Knowledge remains under review.
Next in the assembled sample: the working investigation.
